I have had no less than 15 compliments on this hat ALREADY. 

Of course.  It's adorable.  You can obviously see that.  BUT--the quality is very sturdy and it's well constructed. It's not in any way flimsy or thread bare like SOME CHEAPO places that I shop ( ahem)   and the yarn used is nice and soft.  No scratchies here !
