A sigh of relief. Jaden is DONE. :)

If I could wrap my arms around this computer screen and enfold each one of you who has journeyed with Jaden and I via this blog:  the past year.  I would. Almost an entire YEAR we have clung together.  Praying, hoping, loving a little boy whose life hung in the hands of God.

 If I could, I would invite each of you to my home and thank you , eye to eye.  Thank you for CARING.  FOR CHECKING EACH DAMN WEEK.  FOR CRYING WITH ME, FOR RAGING WITH ME FOR SPREADING THE REQUESTS , FOR DONATING, FOR HELPING ME WITH THE AUCTION, FOR

EVERYTHING .YOU. DID.

 My heart speaks for the Duttine's and their extended family of supporters in Pittsburgh and around the nation:  THANK. YOU.

Pray that this monster - stays far away from our boy and please give yourself a BIG HUG from ME to you FROM JADEN and his family.

Service Project! Sill Bandz-anza for Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh

Of course.  I can't start my 35th year off correctly without having my first thought be about a service project.  My MnM and I came up with a plan to celebrate Jaden's last week of treatment at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.   To honor our little buddy Ethan -  gone too soon and our new friends met through this process!!  What a BLESSED year for all of us.  To know these families.  To help us gain perspective on the TRULY IMPORTANT THINGS in life. :)

 MnM is going to collect those silly bandz - and donate them to the kiddos stuck in the cancer ward of Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.  So many of Jaden's buddies.  A hospital that has saved our buddies life.  If you would like to help simply email me that you'd like to donate a pack or few  ( new please) of silly bandz, zany bandz, what have you! 

You can email me if you're interested and I'll forward you the address to mail to .

In the meantime thank you for helping my 6 year old to make this project huge. These kids deserve some normalcy!  Let's BRING IT!

Jaden diggity dog update. :)

DEAR FRIENDS,
TODAY WAS WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is doing amazingly well for the last day of treatment. He actually was eating dinner tonight (mac & cheese and hot dog). He usually doesn't eat anything in the hotel. Good thing he is finally able to eat something. Drinking was good and the output coincided with that. No fluid retention. GREAT WAY TO END this stay.


Julie seemed a little better today. I do believe that it is because of knowing the stay is almost over. Tonight is the last overnight. The Pirates should have been in town so they could watch the fireworks. OH WELL!


I am hoping they take a bunch of pictures tomorrow for all of us to see!

Jaden Update from Grammie

Hello All!!




Wednesday - I am finding it hard to believe that we are really almost finished with this long journey. When they told us this would be long, we didn't have a clue. Who could have imagined that it would take a year? Good thing we didn't know. We would not have been able to handle it. All of us have pretty much taken it 'one day at a time', since we never knew what tomorrow was going to bring. Too many unexpected turns of events, fevers, infections, tough medicines, yucky side effects ... on top of all the scheduled treatments. Thank God for our faith and all of the people who have taken time to pray for our intentions. Thank you, one and ALL!



Jaden did pretty good today, the water retention is down, so that is a very good thing. Everything seems to be working well. Hooray for our team!!!! GO JADEN!



He claimed that "today was the worst day ever"! No one knows why?



The countdown is SHORT!!!!



As our girl says "Keep on keeping on!!!!!"

Yesterday, in Supah's Post it POST she claimed she looked younger than me.  She posted a pic of her when OBVIOUSLY she was a teenager<----snort

Jaden Update from Grammie!

Dear Friends,

Monday - Jaden was admitted, but ended up having a bad day with the drugs that made him very, very crabby. Poor Jaden could not be comforted. Poor Mommy, had her patience tried to the limit! God bless them both.


Tuesday - had a very much better day, today! Much brighter mood! Hooray! Was interested in breakfast and got pancakes and sausage (of which he had a couple of bites). He is okay with just a bite of everything, except the Chex Mix. Pretzels were the answer! Yum, Yum! Hit the spot! The rest of it either ended up on the bed or on Jaden or on Mom. Darn those bags! Oh well! Poor baby is holding water again and swelling up. He is doing his job, but it isn't good enough to clear him out. He is trying his best, but it isn't enough. More meds tonight to help. He is still the expert when it comes to "vitals". He knows where everything goes and how to do it. Way too knowledgeable for a 3 yr. old.

Brother Joey is taking swimming lessons and is becoming quite a fish. He has been having sleep-overs at with us and Meemaw.

God bless them all.

We all need to continue our praying.

Almost a Year: JADEN UPDATE

Folks- it's been ALMOST a year since our Journey with Jaden began! It started with a cry for prayers from Julie on facebook and has brought us here to this point.

Jadens FINAL treatment started this morning!!!


LET'S ALL WILL THIS LITTLE BOY WELL.  As we've done before and will continue to do.  HEAL HIM. 
Pray that he comes home on Friday as planned with no bumps in the road!  Friday will begin their new journey together as a family:  the journey where Jaden is healthy!


Pray pray pray pray pray pray pray and do some more of that okay?  I'll keep you updated all week long when I have info!

back at chp, bright and early!!! jaden's LAST treatment! cannot believe how far we have come! god bless my sweet little angel, he is so brave and so amazing! i have watched him grow so much over this last year, he know way to much medical terminology for a 3 yr old! Good job little boy! ♥ ♥ ♥

Tattoo shop

Most of you know that I Run a local newsletter for my area via Macaroni Kid. I am always doing fun stuff for it and often have booths at big events etc. most times we will do tattoos and such for the kiddos.

So anyways I took Mnm to get her haircut. I looked at her mangly ass hair and caved. I bribed her with a toy story 3 wii game if she would get it cut short.

Because i hath no shame.
Once you have tnree kids or more...all your rules of engagement go out the window and you are simply remaining in charge by holding one hair of a charging bulls testicle. It's a slightly precarious position to find yourself in sometimes but with three kids you don't waste time on woe is me...thAt could mean losing ur grip on the one hair keeping that bull in check.

So you bribe ..because its faster. Some might say its a lose lose situation..

I say. ..she got her mangly hair cut with no issue.

Charging bull remains MINE! Lol

So while she was getting her haircut two things occurred. I am always primed and ready to hear just "WHAT EXACTLY " my children have shared bout our lives with perfect strangers. it always keeps me on my toes to say the least.

For example slash ie:

We like to jump into the laundry pile mommy hides in the basement

My mommy uses my daddys toothbrush to clean the toilet..do you ?

My cat killed a bird and my mom licked it.



Daddy has big balls. Mommy doesnt.

Things like that..that i may or may not have just totally made up. Lol


So i return to find out that mnm has

One:
a tic on her head..which i extracted like a freakin pro without even showing one iotta of heebeegeebee creepy crawly shivers.

And two:
Mnm has told the haircutter chic that i do TAtoos.

And i dont correct her because the chic seriously thinks i am a tatoo artist.
A real tatoo artist.

Ooooooooooookay then.

I run with it.

Why yes...i am maam.
I have a portable shop on the back of my phil and teds stroller.

Jaden is okay everyone!! Thank you for yor prayers and love through the night. His CT scan can back clear and one round of antibiotics had him back to his chippy chatty self!! He is back at home!! Xoxoxo to all of you from both myself and the

Hey Ya'll. Thanks for the love the other day. I was really feeling the weight of the negative aspects of blogging and had some personal issues as well to attend to. What I neglected to do was to turn the comments off so that I didn't bother you with my " blah blah."

Because I simply don't want to be the type of person who seems to be quitting, quits and comes back , loves to quit... because it brings on wonderful comments such as yours. I've seen it over and over in blog land and I've heard the peanut gallery say : that's freaking annoying.

Rest assured , I'm in no way like those annoying ass people that " fill up" on quitting and coming back.


But I do feel the heavy weight of this job for me. Yes, I do write for myself. When I sit down, while I have you in mind, I do write whatever I'd like and it makes me feel better. My blog, and it's brand however have brought me other opportunities that are intertwined with my Supah name. That's hard sometimes because it's how I support my family. So in one aspect my blog is for me and in another aspect it has become a financial blessing. So I am not as easily able to just say SCREW BLOG LAND. Even though I'd like to sometimes. lol

It's just a hard road sometimes. You put yourself out there and you're not even remotely prepared for the backlashes. I don't honestly know how stars in the entertainment industry do it. I cannot imagine the day in day out of seeing your face and lies on a magazine. I am not built for that and my skin is nowhere as thick as it needs to be. However, if I had thick skin I don't think I'd be near the person I aim to be.

Regardless. Thanks friends. I just needed to vomit out some " self yearning for some perspective. " You'll find that often here and many times I'm just looking for SOMEONE else who has been through this.  So many times I find people looking to me for answers and guidance because I've been there but I really don't have anyone myself to look too.  Someone who can say ' UM.YES.. been there.  "  So I reach out in hopes that someone ... who has remained quiet.. will speak up.  So I guess I'm glad I neglected to turn those comments off because it was helpful to hear many of you have been at the " crossroads" I spoke of. 

I might just be taking a little break to work on those personal issues I spoke of. I've got work to do in lots of areas of my life and while I have to keep the blog going, the blog is now backburner for me. Don't worry though, my backburner is always attended to :)

In the meantime maybe my wolf pack will whoop it up over here and throw wild parties until I'm able to figure out how to balance it all right without losing anything dear to me.

And that your blog and this online world is in essence one of the many tree branches that have been uprooted during this storm,

Hoopaloopin n meatball trophies

Seriously. It's 9AM here and somehow my kids are already outside playing.

What in the helicopter is THAT about?
Do children of year 03 and up not know the sheer joys of lounging around during the summer? In AIRCOnDITIOnIng no less.


We sweated our asses off in non air conditioned 1982. We lounged around in our jammies As PROPER children should until at least 10:00AM. Then we walked to the pool all 348.9miles..yes we did. In SNOW.

Even more unfathomable to myself is the fact that they have somehow acquired two neighbor friends...to be outside playing at 9AM WITH them. That right thur is gang mentality. Be the FIRST outside ...guard the TURF.* Fist pupmp gang sign. *


I don'T even want to know how The friend slash gang member acquiring happened.

Most likely involved the ringing of doorbells at 8:59 AM when they were supposed to be on the driveway hula hoopin as they had begged to do from 6AM until 8:58AM .

That was the moment Supah hit her limit...it was more than my happy pills allowed for. I opened the door and frisbeed the hula hoops out and then drop kicked the two beggars out the door.


Not really. The drop kick part.


Yep Yep calls it hoopaloopin.
It's supah funny.



Mnm got wind of a hoopaloopin contest I am holding during an upcoming promo event *begin promo* for MAcaroni KId..which is still awesome by the way and yes I make moolah. You should totally ask me how to be one for YOUR area *end promo* She somehow thinks that every contest invlolves some sort of trophy win. ??!?!?
