Sundays With Jaden: weekly update
I'll do this every Sunday - AND AS NEEDED for the gazillions of you following his story: so keep coming back.
Please grab his button and place it on your blog to share the prayers.
For those of you unaware of this tough little man, you will first need to read his story here. ( click those words) I must preface your journey to reading that story with two reminders;
I know this family personally.
Grab a Kleenex.
Please grab his button and place it on your blog to share the prayers.
This week began radiation treatments for our little super hero! As always, he took it like a champ. Despite snow and early mornings the family has 5 treatments in the bag already! There are two left to go! Please keep our favorite friend in your prayers as well as his little buddy Ethan and our friend Ronda and Roberta. If you missed last weeks posting you will meet Ronda and Roberta there. Pray for Julie, Jaden's mom. She will visit the doctor this week to discuss her own health. Pray for Julie's family so that they may remain strong. Remain her rock.

A note from Grammie!
Hello Friends!,
The golden sun is shining is Pittsburgh and all is well! Jaden had a very successful week with the radiation. They have personalized his crib so he gets the same old "Home, Sweet Home" when he arrives each morning.
He needs the crib since they sedate him for his radiation and seems to be okay with it.
There are 5 down and 7 to go! It is so good to see a smiling boy with all this fun stuff. He is walking with a limp that has all of us a little nervous.

( eating fruit snacks and falling asleep)
They took xrays and it looks fine, but he is still limping. He is thrilled to be at home with Mom, Dad and Joey. The boys are having a good time playing with each other. It is so good to hear Jaden's little voice happy.

Please keep up the vigilance since Julie will be seeing her Docs this week.
Hope you enjoy the fun pictures!
Lots of love,
Grammie
PLEASE DONATE TO HELP THIS FAMILY IF YOU FEEL LED!

What a wonderful, wonderful thing to post every Sunday!
What a story...thank you for sharing, for spreading it, and for writing about it with hope and in a strange way, joy. I read the original post you wrote about him too...I'm sending my best love and positive energy to Jaden and his family!
I'm so happy to hear that lil Jaden is doing well! I hope his limp doesn't turn out to be anything worse! <3 Prayers for Jaden from Me & my Jayden!
The hardest thing to know is that a small child is so sick. I'm glad he is doing a little better. My prayers are still with him.
I am praying that the limp Jaden has is his super-duper spiderman fueled muscles gearing up one at a time to kiss cancer in the ass.
Afterall, pound for pound that kid is thousands of times stronger than any one of us adults.
Go Jaden Go, show that cancer who's boss round those parts!
Wow! Five down and he seems to be doing so well. what's the next step?
Still praying.
Continuing to pray.
I come by every Sunday just to see how Jaden is doing...this is quite an inspirational story and a beautiful little boy.
In my prayers and thoughts.
